Amanda is the owner and artist behind Morrison Made Co. She is an Environmental scientist who fell in love with the fibre world. She makes groovy macramé décor as well as functional items and wearables. Her favourite thing to do is to up-cycle thrifted items, like jean jackets and baskets, and add some macramé and crystal magic. She’s been a fibre artist for 2 years now and adores using fully recycled cotton cord in all her work- keeping her footprint as small as possible while bringing the funk to our world.
Adriane is the owner and artist behind Whatknot – Fibre Art & Design. She has been a fibre artist for the last 8 years and loves all things fibre. She started with knitting, but wanted to be able to be more creative and not confined by a pattern. She tried weaving in 2020 and has never looked back. She focuses on using ethically sourced animal fibres and recycled cotton. All of her scraps are reused: either spun into new yarn or as is in new pieces. She also uses only compostable or recycled materials in her shipping and plants a tree with every order in an effort to keep her footprint as small as possible. She is passionate about her art, fibre, and helping her community and the earth.
